GhostBusters is a fun 2D platformer game created entirely using Python (Pygame) with tile-based physics, smooth scrolling, and parallax backgrounds. (made as a high school project in 2023)

Your goal is to reach and complete the final level to win the game. Each level increases in difficulty and brings new challenges.

Throughout the game, you’ll encounter various ghosts that you must defeat.
Be careful — if you're killed, you'll have to restart the game from the beginning.

Running low on health?
Keep an eye out for potion jars placed throughout the levels.
Collecting them will restore your health and improve your chances of survival.

The game also comes with a Leaderboard system with the help of SQLite integration. It keep tracks of game score and all the other factors to provide a competitive aspect to the game itself.
